Superfans Recreate Massive Lord Of The Rings Battle
Last month, an event called Bitva o Fort went down. That’s Battle of the Fortin English, and it saw hordes of Lord of the Rings fans converge on the village of Radíkov in the Czech Republic to recreate an epic battle between the forces of men, elves and some very well-dressed orcs.
Via this write-up of the event on larping one of the stars of the weekend was photographer Daniela Bogarová, whose shots of the action can let us all see just how amazing everyone’s costumes were, and how many fans braved the summer heat to smack some people around with fake weapons.
The battle—a LARP event—saw the sides fight over two wooden forts.
